CITROEN has released official photographs of its new C3 model, which will be seen for the first time in public at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany this September.
When it arrives here next spring it will boast completely new exterior styling and a new interior too including a new panoramic windscreen that continues over the heads of the driver and front passenger.
The ride experience is said to have been enhanced considerably by making the car much quieter to travel in and it will feel fresher too thanks to an integrated air freshener that releases fragrances periodically.
Initially the C3 will be powered by a 90bhp diesel engine that becomes the company's first to boast a CO2 figure of under 100g/km although the following year there will be a diesel unit linked to stop/start technology that achieves a figure of just 90g/km.
There will also be a three-cylinder petrol option with a CO2 figure of under 100g/km.
Among the new equipment features will be a sophisticated sound system with MP3 connectivity and Bluetooth plus satellite navigation.
