CUMBERLAND & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart plc held their fortnightly sale of store cattle in Dumfries on Monday.

281 cattle were forward - trade slightly easier, best sorts continue to meet keen competition. Mixed show.

Bullocks: Charolais to 202p Ampherlaw. Limousin to 180p Hillend. Angus to 175.3p Tanlawhill.

Sale average 157.2p

Heifers: Charolais to 194.6p Ampherlaw. Limousin to 176.4p Coatston. Angus to 174p New Farm.

Sale average 159.3p.

Bulls: Limousin to 185.8p Blindhillbush. Holstein to 170.8p Panlands.

Sale average 172.9p.
