Kids bowled over at childminding event

CHILDMINDERS from Dumfries Childminding Group joined forces with parents to treat 45 school-age children to an afternoon of tenpin bowling at AMF Bowling in Carlisle, on Sunday, June 14.

They played on decorated lanes, festooned with balloons in their quest to find a male and female champion bowler who received a trophy and certificate for their highest scores.

A fun time was had by all and the group were delighted at the turn-out.

The treat was substantially funded by the group who also provided a sweet treat for all those taking part.

Members raise funds throughout the year to provide these activities for the children.
