Dalbeattie Star went the whole of 2012 without losing a league game.
Now they're aim is to keep that run going in 2013.
The South of Scotland League champions are due to play Crichton this weekend, with both sides not having played since December 15.
Star player/manager John MacBeth said: Both teams could end up being a wee bit rusty with no games being played but its just a game we have to go into trying to keep our unbeaten run going.
It depends what the weathers like as it could be off as well. The pitch was heavy after we played Heston but itll have had time to recover so hopefully we can get a decent surface for playing football.
Im hoping the break will give my back time to recover.
He added: Weve got Struan Parker trying to get back fit and a couple of boys carrying knocks or away so the time off allows them to get back for the next game.
