Scotland scored three tries but still lost to New Zealand.
Of the south-west clubs, only Langholm won in the cup competitions with Dumfries, Newton Stewart, Annan and Moffat losing out. Stewartry and Wigtownshire were already out.
November internationals: Scotland, with former Dumfries player Nick de Luca at centre, were the first team to score three tries this year against the world champions New Zealand but still lost 22-51 in the first of their three internationals.
The other results were England 54 Fiji 12, France 33 Australia 6, Ireland 12 South Africa 16, Italy 28 Tonga 23 and Wales 12 Argentina 26.
RBS West Regional Cup Group B: Dumfries found Glasgow Hawks too strong, losing 12-34 at Park Farm in their second game.
Group leaders are Greenock Wanderers, who beat Whitecraigs 17-15. In Group A, last year’s cup runners-up Ayr beat Hillhead Jordanhill 19-8 with former Stewartry player Cameron Taylor scoring his first try of the season.
RBS Border Regional Shield: Langholm lead the Border table after beating Hawick Linden 43-17.
RBS West Regional Shield: The last two south-west clubs were knocked out when unbeaten Annan lost away to Kilmarnock, from West One, 17-19 while Newton Stewart found Marr even stronger this week, losing 0-60 to the West One leaders. The other games saw unbeaten Lenzie losing to GHK 7-12 and Helensburgh 28 Carrick 19.
RBS West Regional Bowl: It was defeat for the second week in a row for Moffat, losing 16-38 at home to Millbrae in the first round tie.
RBS West Division Two: Re-arranged league games – Strathendrick 22 McLaren 3, Cambuslang 20 Clydebank 12.
Ladies National League: Stewartry Sirens bounced back from their defeat at Oban to beat RDVC 48-37 in Sunday’s pre-international game to put them equal top with Kirkcaldy on 15 points.
West Regional Under-18 Development League: Stewartry remain unbeaten after six games after beating an under-strength Strathaven 49-5.
League leaders East Kilbride/Cambuslang beat Waysiders 44-7 and are also unbeaten. This week it’s EK/Cambuslang v Stewartry. Players check with coach Andy Muir about arrangements.

Internationals: Friday – Wales v Samoa (kick-off 7.30pm). Saturday – Scotland v South Africa (2.30pm); England v Australia (2.30pm); France v Argentina; Ireland v Fiki (5.30pm).
With Scotland playing on Saturday, there are no RBS league games scheduled.
RBS West Regional Cup Group B: Dumfries are at home to Whitecraigs with a 12.30pm kick-off. The other game is on Friday night, Glasgow Hawks v Greenock Wanderers. Group A sees Ayr v GHA.
