Coaching prize for youths

A DOZEN of the younger players from Dumfries Cricket Club received top quality coaching from Cricket Scotland coaches at a prize-winning session at the Nunholm ground last week.

Dumfries CC were one of two clubs in Scotland to win a coaching session, in a Lloyds TSB Scotland promotion.

The squad for the Coatbridge Cold Store Colts who play in the local John Henderson & Sons Midweek League were given expert advice and video analysis from Cricket Scotland's National Community Development Manager Steve Paige, Iain Stewart and Josh Johnston.

They now have much to work on for next year during their off-season training this winter.
