Cricket camp a big hit

THE Cricket Scotland Cricket Camp held this week at Nunholm in Dumfries had an excellent turnout with 30 youngsters from around the region attending the three days of coaching and games.

The camp was led by first class cricketer New Zealander Grant Robinson who plays for Northern Districts and is the professional at the West of Scotland club.

The camp was arranged through and supported by the Council's Leisure and Sport Department and organised by Cricket Scotland and the D&G Cricket Youth Development Group.
