Cricket summer camps begin

THE CRICKET summer camps start next week.

The popular events run over a fortnight and gives youngsters a chance to try the sport for the first time or develop skills in a fun learning environment.

The four-day session begins on Monday, July 28 at 2pm and is aimed at kids aged from five to 12. This is a repeat of last summer’s successful camp led by Cricket Scotland coaches.

The three-day camp begins on Tuesday August 5 and is aimed at older children, aged from eight to 15. The sessions run from 10am to 3.30pm.

Both camps will be held at the Dumfries Sports Club at Nunholm.
