Saints start on the double!

DUMFRIES Saints Rugby starts the season this week with the first of their pre-season warm ups.

Training has been going well, led excellently by new Club Development Officer Barry Maddocks.

Turn-outs have been high and a new peak was reached last weekend when former players Gus Robertson and Alan Kirk led the squad on a mountain biking expedition to Mabie Forest, a never to be forgotten experience for some!

The senior squad competes in this week’s Violetbank Shield at Annan, whilst a strong development squad is hoping to do well in the Moffat Tens.

Squads may change as a result of training performance and players are asked to check with coaches.
