Pro-am tournament at the Galloway

THIS Saturday and Sunday, the Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club is the place to be for anyone with an interest in the game of golf.

Top 50 Scottish professionals from Portpatrick to Banchory make their way to Dumfries for the 36-hole Order of Merit Kerr Investments Pro-Am Classic.

Returning are Steven Taylor, Bothwell Castle and David Orr, Eastwood to defend their title and try to better even last year’s scores.

Hot on their heels are the experienced Colin Gillies, Braid Hills Chris Kelly, Cawder and Jason McCreadie, Buchanan Castle who will certainly have a say in who the eventual winner will be.

Spectators will be most welcome and treated to some excellent scoring from the pros.

All that is now required is good weather!
