Len Paling trophy winners

THE LEN Paling Memorial Trophy was played for at the Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club recently and the results were as follows:

First class: 1 G Smith (Lockerbie) 82-12=70 (bih); 2 M Saunders (Workington) 83-13=70 (bih); 3 J Kerr (D&G) 84-14=70 (bih).

Second class: 1 K Prentice (Workington) 83-16=67; 2 K Shaw (D&G) 85-15=70; 3 S Hartley (Silloth) 87-15=72.

The winner of the Len Paling Memorial Trophy was K Prentice of Workington Golf Club. Mr Prentice is pictured above, centre, receiving his trophy from club captain Eddie Whitefield, left, with Jim Kerr (D&G) looking on.
