Golf: Dumfries and Galloway ladies

THE August Medal was played for by 38 ladies on August 5 in very mixed weather.

The morning and afternoon were bright and warm but unfortunately the evening players got rain.

The winners were Silver: Trish Lilly and Bronze: Rosemary Kirk.

Silver Scratch plus spoon: P Lilly 74-6-68

1st H/C C Holden 84-10-74, 2nd F McGregor 84-8-76, 3rd Equal M Williamson 89-12-77 and S Galligan 97-20-77.

Bronze Scratch: V Sutton 98 on the better 6 holes from S Robin.

1st H’C plus spoon R Kirk 98-25-73, 2nd S Robin 98-28-74, 3rd R Balmano 101-26-75.
