THIRTY-FOUR Dumfries and County ladies played in the August Medal when the results were as follows:

Winner, silver: Mrs M McGregor 78 – 8 = 70. Bronze: Mrs K Gray 96 – 22 = 74. Best scratch: Mrs M McGregor 78.

Silver Division: 1Mrs M McGregor 78 – 8 = 70; 2 Mrs E Graham 89 – 18 = 71.

Bronze Division: 1 Mrs K Gray 96 – 22 = 74; Mrs E Fairbairn 99 - 23 = 76.
