Queens in seven-goal shocker

Queen of the South

IN likely their best match of the season so far Queen of the South stole a runaway victory against Clyde on Saturday at Palmerston Park.

In less than five minutes of the start of the match Stephen Dobbie scored his first of four goals.

Shots by Stewart Kean and Steve Tosh put the doonhamers up 3-0 just before half time.

A free-kick from Clyde’s Willie McLaren recovered one goal for the ailing away side.

Queens dominated again in the second half with a further four goals before the final whistle.
