Queens shirt sponsor chance launched

QUEENS have launched their popular shirt sponsorship draw, giving local businesses the chance to feature in next season’s campaign.

In its 13th year, many will be hoping that 13 will become their lucky number.

Entry to the draw is £400 and there are 11 highly sought after prizes on offer - including shirt and short sponsorship and season-long sponsorship of a player.

Other prizes include signed memorabilia and admittance to the directors’ box.

And there is also a separate silent auction allowing people to bid for their company to feature on the back of the strip.

Bids for that prize start at £2800, with the final offers being accepted until 7.30pm on March 28.

The value of the draw to the club is approximately £80,000 per season, and without the draw it is unlikely that the club could raise this level of funding through conventional sponsorship.

Queens Commercial Manager, Mark McMinn, said: “The beauty of the Queen of the South Shirt sponsorship draw is that it is open to anyone so whether you are a large or small company, whether your company is local or from further afield, your contribution towards helping the club through this method of sponsorship is invaluable to us, and you all have an equal opportunity to reap the rewards should your company be fortunate enough to be drawn out as our shirt sponsor for next season.”

Entrants to the draw also receive a free season ticket .
