QUEENS picked up a double boost at the weekend in the monthly season awards for April.
Gordon Chisholm was awarded Irn-Bru First Division manager of the month and departing striker Stephen Dobbie was named player of the month.
During the month, Chisholm steered his side to league survival with results against Partick, St Johnstone and that 7-1 thrashing of Clyde – the game where Dobbie netted four times.
Chisholm said: “It's the first I’ve lifted this season but it was well worth waiting for.”
Dobbie, who will be playing for Swansea next season, added: “It's the best ‘going-away’ present I could have wished for.”
