QUEENS get back to league business tomorrow following their disappointing exit from the Scottish Cup last week.
And the Doonhamers have a trip north to Ross County to contend with, as Gordon Chisholm’s side looks to turn its improved performances into points on the board.
Chisholm’s men have performed well against County in the league, having beaten them both home and away so far this season.
Chisholm said: “It’s a hard place to go, but we’ve done well against them this year.
“We’ve been playing well in the last few weeks and now it’s about turning those games into wins.”
Queens’ new signings have been featuring regularly, with Barry Wilson, Martyn Lancaster and Lee Robinson all starting against Falkirk last weekend.
The Palmerston gaffer is happy with their contribution.
He said: “I’m pleased with the way we are playing, and I think the new signings have freshened things up.
“I brought them in to change things around, and I think they are starting to do that.”
Chisholm is still looking to bring another new face to Palmerston to fill-in for injured Gary Arbuckle.
The transfer window closes at the end of the month, and the Queens’ boss is looking at a number of players.
Chisholm said: “I’d like to bring in someone to replace Gary.
“But we’re only looking to bring in a player of quality.
“It’s all about finding the right player.”
