ANOTHER Saturday and another defeat for Queens took the doonhamers already woeful spirits down to even new lows.

But the lads did not go out without a fight.

Falkirk was given a run for their money thanks to Barry Wilson scoring just minutes after the opposition claimed their first point of the match.

And for a brief time the Doonhamers took the lead thanks to a free kick from Bob Harris.

But the ailing side’s luck ran dry for another consecutive match when Falkirk gained ground in the 68^th minute courtesy of Graham Barrett before scoring again later on in the match securing the end of Queen of the South’s Scottish Cup campaign this season.
