IT WAS tears for Queens on Saturday as the Doonhamers had victory snatched from their grasp in the closing minutes by Morton.

Despite taking an early two-goal load at Greenock, the visitors ran out of steam late on.

Queens claimed two goals within the first 20 minutes thanks to Barry Wilson and Gary Arbuckle.

The confident start put Morton on their toes and the home side managed claw back a goal shortly after half time thanks to Peter Weatherson.

But just when Queens looked as if they would take their first win in nine matches, Weatherson scored again leaving both teams to share the points.
