Tournament draw made

THE ANNUAL Annan tournament will take place again this year at Galabank on July 18 and 19.

It will feature Annan Athletic, Dumbarton, Newcastle Benfield and Queen of the South. The draw was made at Galabank on Friday.

On Saturday July 18, Newcastle Benfield will take on hosts Annan at noon. Then, later that day with a 3.15pm kick-off, Queen of the South will take on Dumbarton.

On Sunday, July 19, the third and fourth placed play-offs will kick off at noon with the final starting at 3.15pm.

Stranraer lifted the trophy last year after defeating Annan 3-0 in the final.

Workington Reds and Spartans also took part last year.
