American triples at the Crichton

ON SUNDAY, Crichton Royal Bowling Club held their annual mixed American triples event for the James McShane Memorial Trophy.

This year the winners were Colin Ramage, George Little and Nan Walker, while the runners-up were John Weddell, Roger Gale and Heather McIntyre.

The James McShane Memorial Trophy was gifted to the club in 1993 by his wife Mrs Margaret McShane and annually the family donate individual trophies which are presented to the winners and runners-up.

This year Mrs McShane’s daughter Ellen Clark from Shearington was on hand to make the presentations.
