Queens travel to Stenhousemuir tomorrow looking to add one more claim to fame to their already impressive season.
The Ochilview Park club are the only division two side the Doonhamers have not beaten this season after Allan Johnston’s men threw away a two goal lead at home to the Warriors in October.
Nicky Clark, who scored that day in a 2-2 draw, added three more on Boxing Day against Stranraer, and will be key to the Palmerston outfits plans against the seventh placed club this weekend.
Queens sit nine points clear of chasers Alloa Athletic after that 4-1 win in the Dumfries and Galloway derby and will be keen to take the form of the second half, when they fired in three unanswered goals, into the clash with Stenhousemuir.
The hosts have won only one of their last six league and cup appearances but will take heart from their second half comeback at Palmerston and could well fancy the upset on Saturday despite losing 3-2 away at East Fife in their own festive clash on Wednesday.
