Secretary of State for Scotland Michael Moore is to be be presented with the business case to take the Government's flagship Green Investment Bank north of the border.

A group led by Liberal Democrat Edinburgh West MP Mike Crockart and Labour Edinburgh North and Leith MP Mark Lazarowicz will head up a delegation which includes representatives from the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, ScottishPower, Scottish and Southern Energy and Scottish Financial Enterprise to make the case for the bank to be located in Edinburgh.

The campaign team say they are expecting cross-party support in its bid to bring the bank to Scotland to enable it to make the most of both the financial expertise as well as the renewable energy experience available in Edinburgh.
