Minister sorry over letter distress
Immigration minister Damian Green has apologised for a letter warning asylum seekers that they faced being evicted at short notice.
More than 600 families in Glasgow received letters telling them they could soon be re-homed in early November.
It warned that they may be required to move to elsewhere in the Scottish region with three to five days notice, and that they might be allowed to take no more than two pieces of luggage.
