Homecoming celebrations new events
The year-long Homecoming celebrations have been bolstered by another 44 tourist draws.
The new events include the Edinburgh Mela festival, an ice hockey competition and a clan gathering.
First Minister Alex Salmond announced the additions at the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival in Portsoy, Banffshire.
