TWO people remain in Dumfries Infirmary with “suspected” swine flu.
Health officials confirmed that one man who had been a confirmed case earlier in the week, was now being treated as one of the suspected cases.
A spokesman for NHS Dumfries and Gallow ay told the Standard: “There remain two patients in DGRI who are described as “query” H1N1.
There are currently no other confirmed or suspected cases in hospital. The two patients are not giving rise to any concerns.”
Around 130 people in the region have visited their doctor with swine flu symptoms this week.
