ANNAN community cop Justin Clark is the toast of the division after winning the prestigious David Gray Memorial Trophy at the Scottish Police College.
He is the fourth Annan officer to receive the coveted trophy for being the most outstanding student on the Standard Community Safety Course, which comprises social and physical crime prevention strategies.
Sergeant Alison Moir from the Annan Community Safety Unit said: “Officers from all over Scotland attend the course, and it is quite an achievement to win to the award.
“This is a prestigious award which Annan officers Eric Dunion, Alan Wilson and Ben Pybus have previously won. It is testimony to the calibre of officers who serve in Annan community.”
Justin became a police officer five years ago and joined the community safety section in February this year.
He said: “I found the course very useful and I am looking forward to putting the theory into practice in Annan.”
