Police search for man in connection with sexual assualt

POLICE are searching for a man who may be able to help them with their inquiries into a sexual assault in Dumfries in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The assault took place at around 3am on Sunday morning in the vicinity of Welldale Place in the town.

The man is described as being white and between 5’10” – 6” in height of slim build.

He has dark coloured hair, dark eyes and pale complexion. He was wearing a white coloured shirt with lighter coloured vertical stripes which were tucked into a pair of baggy blue denim jeans.
