Locharbriggs kids complete writing project

A WRITING project has been completed by children at Locharbriggs Primary School.

All the children from nursery to P7 produced a book containing various types of writing from poetry, stories and functional pieces.

The children worked in collaboration with authors and artists to assist them with the project.

The main aims of the project were to raise attainment in writing, to develop further partnerships with parents and to improve business links with the community.

The school proudly displayed an exhibition of the work in Locharbriggs Community Centre. It was a big success and the children especially enjoyed viewing their own book and showing their work to friends, family and exhibition visitors.
