Dramatic ending
THIRTY Lochmaben Primary pupils took to the stage in their end of term school production Lights, Camera, Action.
The show was the end result of a lot of hard work from the members of the school’s drama club run by Anne Aldridge.
The club meets once a week, and put the show on to mark the end of the school term.
The production’s theme was television as the whole show was set in a TV studio with spoofs of popular quiz shows, soap operas and talent competitions.
The drama club is made up of primary six and seven pupils, and Miss Aldridge was pleased with the end product.
She added: “It’s very important to put productions like these on in the school as it builds confidence and improves self-esteem in the children.
“The night was well-supported and we raised a modest amount of money for the school.”
