THE TEENAGE survivor of a crash that killed one of his pals has made a slight improvement in hospital.
The latest update on Chris McLachlan’s condition at Dumfries Infirmary was “critical but stable however slight progress is being made”.
The 18-year-old Dumfries man was the passenger in a black Honda Civic which crashed into a tree on the A75 near Collin around 1.45am on Saturday, February 21.
He had been coming back from Annan with friends, Jamie McCarry, aged 16, Irving Gracie, aged 18, 17-year-old Darren Bell and 16-year-old Danny McQueen.
Mr McQueen died of his injuries. His funeral will take place on Friday at St Andrew’s Church.
