Police make fresh appeal for witnesses of A75 crash

POLICE have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a crash in which a 28-year-old man died.

Daniel Davies, of Auldgirth, was killed when he came off his motorcycle and collided with a lorry on the A75 just east of Collin on July 28.

Police are particularly keen to trace the driver of a red car who may have seen the crash. A police spokesman said the car was thought to have been travelling between a Peugeot 307 and a Vauxhall Vectra near the scene of the incident. He said: “The driver of this red car may have witnessed the crash and as such police are keen to trace this person. Police can be contacted on the usual number 0845 600 5701.”
